Souad Asma Darwish
Printmaking and illustration artist
- 🇫🇷 Saint-Étienne, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France
- Starlight Pottery
- Since 1979
- French, Arabic, Spanish
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1979 at Starlight Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Starlight Pottery, which keeps me honest.
More about Souad
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Souad: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
