Sosuke Toru Murata
Painter, potter and teacher at The Tokyo Print Workshop
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- 1985 to 2012
- Japanese
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1985 at The Tokyo Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Tokyo Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
More about Sosuke
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Sosuke: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
