Sophie W. Turner
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States
- Andes Repairs
- 1979 to 2014
- English
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1979 in Winston-Salem and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
What gifts mean to Sophie: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
