I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1982 at Rockford Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sophie
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
