I taught religious studies at Derry Girls' School in Derry from 1985 to 2009. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sophie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
