Sophie Oliver
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States
- 2008 to 2017
- English
For nine years I ran the volleyball program at Flint Youth Club in Flint. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy! Greetings from Hannover.
