Sophie Nina Gerritsen

Youth hockey coach and mentor

🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
Haarlem Boxing Gym
Since 1979
Dutch

I've coached hockey at Haarlem Boxing Gym since 1979. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.

More about Sophie

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Sophie: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
