Sophie Martinez
Home economics and physical education teacher, Bronx
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- Bronx Public School
- 1981 to 2014
- English
I taught home economics and physical education at Bronx Public School, Bronx. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Sophie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 1984 at Bronx Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
