Sophie L. Carroll
Professor of statistics, Redwood Institute of Technology
- 🇺🇸 Reading, Pennsylvania, United States
- Redwood Institute of Technology
- 2009 to 2025
- English, French
I taught statistics at Redwood Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2025, and supervised 43 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Sophie
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Sophie: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
