Sophie K. Murphy

Painter, potter and teacher at El Paso Gallery

  • 🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States
  • El Paso Gallery
  • Since 2007
  • English
I'm a ceramics artist based in El Paso. I've been making things since 2007 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

More about Sophie

I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Sophie: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
