Sophie J. Lawrence
Calligraphy and oil painting artist
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Unity Studio
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1993 at Unity Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Unity Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Sophie
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Sophie: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
