Sophie F. Jackson
35 years teaching agriculture in Leicester
- 🇬🇧 Leicester, England, United Kingdom
- Orchid Grammar School
- Since 1997
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Sophie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
