Sophie Diaz

26 years teaching materials science at Gateway College

  • 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
  • Gateway College
  • Since 2010
  • English, Spanish
I've spent 16 years as a lecturer in materials science at Gateway College in Manchester. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.

More about Sophie

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
