Sophie C. Myers
Tabla player and teacher in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 1993 to 2025
- English
I play tabla and brass band. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
More about Sophie
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Sophie: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
