Sophia Langley
English literature and chemistry teacher, Geelong
- 🇦🇺 Geelong, Victoria, Australia
- Geelong Girls' School
- Since 1992
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Sophia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sophia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
