I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1988 at Old Bamboo Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Sophia
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Sophia: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
