Soo-ah Kim
37 years teaching music in Suwon
- 🇰🇷 Suwon, Gyeonggi, South Korea
- Suwon Middle School
- 2013 to 2025
- Korean, Spanish
I taught music at Suwon Middle School in Suwon from 2013 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Soo-ah
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Grade 4 class in 2015. You believed I could do it before I did
