Sônia Renata Monteiro

Physics and social studies teacher, Petrópolis

  • 🇧🇷 Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Hillcrest Girls' School
  • 2006 to 2015
  • Portuguese
I taught physics at Hillcrest Girls' School in Petrópolis from 2006 to 2015. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Sônia

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
