Sônia Márcia Cavalcanti

Teacher at Guarulhos Girls' School, loves mathematics

  • 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Guarulhos Girls' School
  • Since 1985
  • Portuguese
For 41 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Guarulhos Girls' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Sônia

If you were in my the youngest children class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.

What gifts mean to Sônia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
