I teach mathematics at Ashford Girls' School in Hồ Chí Minh City since 1984. Most days I teach Year 9, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
