I taught religious studies at Meadowbank Technical College in Phuket from 1996 to 2011. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Somchai
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Somchai: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me religious studies in 2019 at Meadowbank Technical College. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
