I've coached softball at Bangkok Boxing Gym since 2012. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Somchai
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Somchai: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
