My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1993 in Bangkok and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Somchai
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Somchai: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
