Solomon Gebremariam
Teacher at Jimma Academy, loves chemistry
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Since 1994
- English, Amharic
For 32 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Jimma Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Solomon
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Solomon: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
