Soledad W. Medina
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
- Brookfield Shop
- Since 1980
- Spanish, English
I've worked in pottery since 1980. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,890 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
