I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Soledad
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Soledad: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
