Sohel Ratul Banerjee
Upholstery for 31 years in Narayanganj
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Narayanganj Trades Guild
- 1982 to 2013
- English, Bengali
I've worked in upholstery from 1982 to 2013. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,520 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Sohel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sohel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
