I've coached baseball at Valley View Community Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 8 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Monterrey.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
