Sofía W. Fuentes
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇨🇴 Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia
- The Ashford Works
- 1978 to 2013
- Spanish
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1978 in Envigado and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Sofía
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

you fixed our roof in 2011 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Asaba.
