I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Sofía
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me special education in 2011 at Alicante High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
