I taught art at Beacon Academy in Latina from 1979 to 1997. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Sofia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Sofia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
