Sofía K. Rivera

Painter, potter and teacher at Iztapalapa Gallery

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Iztapalapa Gallery
  • 1998 to 2007
  • Spanish
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1998 at Iztapalapa Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Iztapalapa Gallery, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Sofía

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
