Sofía G. Díaz

Thatching for 30 years in Monterrey

  • 🇲🇽 Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico
  • Eastgate Works
  • Since 1996
  • Spanish
I've worked in thatching since 1996. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 810 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
