Sofia D'Amico
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Bergamo
- 🇮🇹 Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy
- Baobab Band
- Since 1980
- English, Italian
I play traditional drumming and tabla. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Sofia
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Sofia: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
