Sofia Caterina Moretti
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇹 Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy

My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Bergamo and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sofia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Sofia: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
