I've worked in electrical work from 1984 to 2006. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,210 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
