Slamet Wijaya
Woodcarving and printmaking artist
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Eastgate Gallery
- 2014 to 2025
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2014 at Eastgate Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Slamet
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Slamet: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
