Siyabonga L. Pienaar
Keeper of the mobile library
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Highland Branch Library
- 2016 to 2025
- English, Afrikaans
For nine years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Highland Branch Library.
I answered every email, even at midnight. A library should feel like a living room.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Siyabonga
If you ever returned a book late to me, you're forgiven.

What gifts mean to Siyabonga: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
