Sita Sushila Magar
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Since 2016
- English, Nepali, Spanish
I've worked in carpentry since 2016. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Sita
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sita: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
