Sipho F P. Govender
12 years teaching economics in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Girls' School
- 1982 to 1992
- English, Afrikaans
Johannesburg Girls' School was my second home. I taught economics there from 1982 to 1992, mostly Grade 8.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Sipho
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me economics in 2002 at Johannesburg Girls' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
