I taught music at Pietermaritzburg Primary School in Pietermaritzburg from 1994 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
