Sipho F C. Jacobs
Trades mentor, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Community Trust
- 1992 to 2006
- English, Afrikaans
For 14 years I've mentored people in trades and software. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Sipho
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sipho: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
