Simone Vanessa Ferreira

Spanish and economics teacher, Guarulhos

  • 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Guarulhos Secondary School
  • 2002 to 2012
  • Portuguese, Spanish
For ten years I was the Spanish teacher at Guarulhos Secondary School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Simone

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Simone: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
