Simone Mariana Vieira

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇧🇷 Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
  • Porto Alegre Willow Creek Youth Club
  • 2008 to 2025
  • Portuguese
For 17 years I ran the wrestling program at Porto Alegre Willow Creek Youth Club in Porto Alegre. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
