I've been a nurse for 33 years, most of them in palliative care at Vitória da Conquista Community Hospital in Vitória da Conquista. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
