Simone Carolina Mendes
Teacher at Guarulhos Secondary School, loves Spanish
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Guarulhos Secondary School
- 2016 to 2025
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Simone
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me Spanish in 2024 at Guarulhos Secondary School. I still remember the end-of-term party Truly.
