Simone Antônia Castro
Self-taught glass art artist
- 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Since 1981
- English
I work mostly in glass art, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1981 at Little Duque de Caxias Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Simone
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Simone: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
