Helping people break into writing
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Dodoma Youth Network
- 2010 to 2020
- English, Swahili, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 440 people through Dodoma Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Simiyu
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
