Simiyu Okello Ouma

Retired history teacher from Kingsway Middle School

  • 🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda
  • Kingsway Middle School
  • 2009 to 2020
  • English
Kingsway Middle School was my second home. I taught history there from 2009 to 2020, mostly Grade 11. Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Simiyu

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Simiyu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
