For 31 years I was the environmental science teacher at Brookfield Boys' School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Simiyu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
